SCOTT HORWITZ - Head of Strategy & Business Development
Noted for having the ability to manage the financial, technological, and operational resources around which to build a platform, Scott developed an early career as one of the most effective traders and managers in the currency-trading market. Having spent the better part of twenty-seven (27) years in the financial markets, Scott brings extensive background in developing and mentoring diverse groups of talent. He served his last fourteen (14) years in the industry as Managing Director of Societe Generale’s New York trading group, one of the world’s single largest currency-trading groups.
Following that time, and looking for an opportunity to apply his skills more broadly, Scott created a business development advisory service, working with clients across a number of business sectors to shape and execute strategies for new product development. Some of the industries served include Financial Products, Luxury Travel, Healthcare, Snack Foods, and Commercial Real Estate. Scott graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Business Management.
Scott & his wife have actively supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Breast Cancer Research, as well as a number of local hospitals in Westchester County. When he’s not working, Scott can be found performing comedy in front of large audiences or on the golf course trying to hone his golf skills. You’d think after 40+ years he would have mastered that sport already!
